But President Cyril Ramaphosa took his election campaign to new levels, when he contacted three A-list celebs, AKA, DJ Tira and Bonang Matheba, on Instagram calls to personally chat to them about them voting yesterday.
Cyril Ramaphosa contacted Super Mega, AKA, to find out whether he had cast his vote already for the 2019 South African National Elections. AKA was very humbled by the call and showed off his sweeter side on the call.

AKA thanked the President for all the work he has done for the country and encouraged others to vote too. While on the Instagram call, AKA, also asked uBaba to hold the line so he could introduce his woman to him, and out popped DJ Zinhle, who also said she had been to the voting stations earlier and cast her vote. Look, the president's campaigning is on point, knowing the number of social media followers that both AKA and DJ Zinhe have.
Just like us, we're pretty sure the President was not expecting a two for one IG call but when you have connections, might as well use them, right? And not only does the President get the clout he wanted but we as Mzansi got the affirmation.
The power couple have been playing coy for months about the status of their relationship and having the public put the pieces together for themselves to validate that AKA and DJ Zinhle were indeed back together.
But now, we can finally put the speculation to rest after AKA took the relationship to a whole other level.
