The gqom singer made the startling announcement in a tweet on Sunday to the surprise of her fans.
She also claimed that she was 'moving on from an abusive relationship was not easy'.
Many tweeps took this as a statement that Babes was referring to on/off boyfriend Mampintsha who was charged with assaulting her earlier this year.
Others were shocked, amused and even angered by her public declaration.
Her tweets must be taken with a grain of salt however. It's no secret that she's been hacked before, a claim the Wololo singer stands by.
Her official Twitter has been the subject of a series of bizarre and offensive tweets including racist, homophobic and shock-worthy posts, with the account most recently telling fans to phone Babes on her cellphone number to chat.
Although her hackers vowed to give her back ownership of her account, it seems that they either changed their minds or were playing us all along.
Over the weekend her account took a jab at Jessica Nkosi who discovered her baby daddy TK Dlamini has been cheating on her.
Another tweet read that she does not like white people and doesn’t care what you think about it.
The real Babes (who we believe controls her own Instagram account) has remained silent on the saga unfolding on her Twitter timelines
Another day, another unbelievable Babes tweet!
