Connie Ferguson became a household name when she joined the cast of Generations in 1994. She played the role of Karabo Moroka and appeared on the show’s very first episode. Connie worked on the hit soapie for 16 years before leaving in 2010.
“In 2010, I did the scariest thing ever and left Generations, sometimes this is where you have to trust your instincts and take a chance. I had sleepless nights thinking If I had made the right decision,” she said at Durban Business Fair's Women Economic Engagement forum in 2018.
After leaving Generations, Connie appeared on M-Net's The Wild. Since then she has starred in Rockville and The River. Connie returned to Generations in 2014 to reprise her role as Karabo Moroka.
