So, ever since Kelly Khumalo and Chad Da Don made it official that they're dating, the public and media have yet again focused their attention on the Qinisela singer's love life.
Although at some point we were convinced that this sudden union was a publicity stunt for Kelly's new music video, they've clearly proven us wrong by sharing affectionate pictures of each other, and even attending industry award shows together.
The 10th Annual Feather Awards show was one of the few events that the couple attended together, and that appearance has made the media become even more interested in their new relationship. However, this has now brought a lot of unwanted attention for Kelly and Chad.
This week, Kelly posted a picture of a magazine that had placed her and Chad on their front cover with the cover line: "Kelly Khumalo Madly in love with umlungu (white person)."
This did not settle well with Kelly as she found it to be racist and offensive.
"I can't help but feel that this headline is very racist, who still sees colour in this day and age? It could have ended with Kelly finds love but no you dirty mother f**** had to take it that far! I warned but you didn't listen, I'm so coming 4 u even 4 the old sh*** you've written," she wrote.
A lot of her followers including the likes of Somizi backed her up. The Idols SA judge commented: "100 percent agree with you. If a white publication wrote Chad in with a blackie we would be all over the show boycotting. Ms*** we move mag. It belongs in the toilets to wipe bums."
Some of her followers have encouraged her to ignore the negativity and move on with her life.
