Khaya Mthethwa Controversy

The former idols SA winner recently welcomed his first child with his wife Ntando Kunene-Mthethwa. It appears that he is really enjoying every minute of his experience as a new Father.

While his tweet regarding fatherhood may have been completely innocent, not all of twitter agreed with it.

“Made a mess of my first nappy change yesterday… I respect full time fathers,” he posted.

Most of his followers praised him, others questioned what he meant by the term ‘full-time father”.

“You mean there are part-time mothers and fathers?” one tweep wrote.

Another added: “What are the duties of a part-time father?”

Despite some of the negative comments Khaya received, he also received some supportive words from hands on Dads…

“I think I have mastered nappy changes … Funny how everyone thought I’d mess. Just the smell that used to get to me, but hey you got to do what you need to! Enjoy bro!” a user named Kgauzer replied.
