Boity In Awe Over Success Of Music Career

When she announced that she would be venturing into the music industry as a rapper, many were on the fence.

Boity wears many hats, she has dabbled in acting, presenting, fashion, business and evidently rapping. We witnessed the birth of Boity the rapper during #MigosCultureTour, when she stole the show with Nasty C on stage.

Her rap skills were however questioned. Hip Hop heads criticized her bars and writing abilities, concluding that she has a ghost writer. After those circulated, a lot doubted her authenticity as a rapper.

Fast forward to now when her career has taken off. She has made history by being the first female rapper to receive a platinum plaque for her breakthrough single 'Wuz Dat' featuring Nasty C.




The Bakae rapper was soaring so high that she never let the hate get to her, and she told her haters to 'come correct' and check the numbers.

On Twitter, she has expressed how proud she is over the success of her rap career thus far, saying she is in 'awe.'

"The way my music career turned out will always blow my mind!! I am always in awe! Always thinking “HOW TF?!”. Yho!!" she tweeted.




Fans could not agree more and they all agreed in unison that her hard work ethic is what got her to where she is.
