The power of social media can never be denied, especially when used constructively. Fans have a direct communication tool to reach their favourite celebrities on various social media platforms.
An individual that made Twitter work in his favour is a young man by the handle, @_nozulu. He reached out to rapper and entrepreneur, Boity to request a young financial contribution so that he could purchase a calculator for his upcoming exams.
Boity was moved by this request, and wasted no time in sending him the money via e-wallet.
Fast forward to December 2019, the homie has finally graduated and posted all about it on Twitter - making sure that a special and mega S/O was attributed to Boity!
This was Boity's response to the inspiring tweet:
The Own Your Throne rapper was the number one trending topic on Twitter this morning. Her good deeds have clearly caught up with her and Tweeps were here for it!
We love it when our celebrities use social media for good.
Last year, our very own Bonang Matheba found an unattended cellphone in the ladies restroom in Sandton. The 31-year-old media darling then posted a picture of it on Twitter, so that the owner could claim the cellphone (of which she did).
This rare move by Queen B secured a special place in a lot of people's hearts, especially un this day and age where displaying that level of humanity has become some kind of an anomaly.
