A video circulating on social media shows a group of young people in Kaduna chanting “Ba ma yi” — a Hausa expression translating as “We don’t want it” — as vehicles displaying campaign portraits of President Bola Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima drove past.
The footage shows the youths gathered along a roadside while APC-branded vehicles carrying images of Tinubu and Shettima moved through the area.
- The vehicles passed as supporters of the All Progressives Congress continued arriving in Kaduna.
- The influx came ahead of the APC presidential campaign rally planned for Saturday in the state.
- Tinubu is expected to travel to Kaduna to formally launch the party’s presidential campaign activities.
