
Thirty vessels carrying fuel, food products and other goods are scheduled to call at Lagos ports from September 15 to 28, highlighting continued inbound activity across Nigeria’s maritime supply chain.

Ships scheduled to arrive
The Nigerian Ports Authority said in its Tuesday Daily Shipping Position that the 30 vessels are expected to reach the Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea and Tin Can Island terminals during the two-week period.
Ten of the vessels will bring containers containing a range of goods, while five are set to deliver aviation fuel. The remaining 15 ships are expected to transport crude oil, diesel, general cargo, bulk gypsum, fresh fish and bulk wheat.
Vessels awaiting berths and unloading cargo
The authority also reported that 12 ships and tankers had reached the three Lagos ports but had not yet been assigned berthing space. Their consignments include bulk urea, petrol, diesel, crude oil and bulk salt.
At the same time, 21 vessels were discharging cargo at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea and Tin Can Island. The goods being unloaded comprise containers, fresh fish, general cargo, bulk pallets, bulk urea, bulk sugar, bulk salt, aviation fuel and petrol.
