Nasarawa United Rise to Sixth After Convincing Win at Inter Lagos

Nasarawa United assistant coach Stephen Moga praised his side after a 2-0 away win against Inter Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.

  1. Kelechi Ogbobo opened the scoring for the Solid Miners in the 11th minute.
  2. Ugochukwu Leonard extended Nasarawa United’s lead five minutes later.
  3. The victory lifted Mbwas Mangut’s team into sixth place in the league standings.

Moga said the squad’s planning was beginning to produce the results required for its domestic and continental ambitions.

“We thank God for the win,” Moga said. “We have been working out strategies to achieve the results we are seeking, so that we can reach our objectives in both the league and continental competition.”

Nasarawa United will next host Enyimba on Sunday in their Matchday 10 fixture.
