Governor calls for wider educational role
Governor Alex Otti thanked the Nigerian Navy for its role in education, healthcare and community development across the state. He said he hoped the service would broaden its educational programmes in Abia to cover secondary schools and vocational training institutions.
Otti said spending on human-capital development gives young people useful skills and opportunities, helping to reduce their exposure to criminal activity.
