NNPCL Cuts Petrol Price by N25 to N1,370 per Litre in Abuja

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited has lowered the retail price of Premium Motor Spirit, commonly called petrol, by N25 per litre. Checks conducted on Wednesday morning found that NNPCL stations in Abuja and nearby areas were selling the product at N1,370 per litre, down from N1,395. The new price was in effect at outlets in Wuse Zone 6, Zone 4 and Air Junction. MRS filling stations had made the same adjustment two days earlier, following a N25 reduction in Dangote Refinery’s gantry price to N1,325 per litre. At the time of reporting, Brent crude was trading at $103 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate stood at $90 per barrel.
