Manchester City were stunned 3-1 by Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday evening, extending Enzo Maresca’s side’s losing run to three matches. Forest made a flying start, scoring twice in the first 20 minutes as Jair Cunha capitalised on a defensive mistake before Liam Delap broke clear and fired high into the goal. City appeared capable of mounting a revival early in the second half when Rayan Cherki struck an outstanding finish, but Forest restored their two-goal advantage as Delap completed his double on a rapid counterattack. The defeat leaves City six points adrift of Arsenal heading into the November international break.
