We’ve picked up on one of SA’s most talked about rumours – are DJ Euphonik and Bonang Matheba dating? The two have been linked to each other many times over the last few years. Have they been trying to keep this big secret – or are rumourmongers just getting over-excited?

We did a small investigation.

The romantic links to DJ Euphonik began shortly after Bonang’s much publicised break-up from Skwatta Kamp’s Slikour in 2009.

In 2010, she finally opened up to Drum magazine about her relationship with her ‘Superman’ Euphonik and told how he’s a very private man and doesn’t want to be involved in gossip.

Unfortunately, the rumours hit anyway – supposedly Euphonik impregnated another girl, and Bonang had an affair with soccer star Simphiwe Tshabalala.

And by mid-2011 it seems the two broke up.

But then:

They were caught shopping together in October last year, locking lips at 5fm’s Ultimix launch party in November, and they were together at the 5fm Love Suck’s party earlier this year.

We’ve had Euphonik neither confirming nor denying a relationship and Bonang speaking openly about “a boyfriend” in the industry who’s very private.

Our verdict – they so are!
