Ashtray Electric to release new album

Ashtray Electric - Gallo ImagesAshtray Electric, the award winning South African rock band, is to release their second album in June this year.

The album, called “Measured in Falls”, is also the point of a national tour that begins at Cape Town’s The Assembly on June 11.

The album features 11 new tracks, and their popular single “Release” as a bonus track.

The band says, “Lyrically the new songs touch on the concept of truth and deception and the tools such as manipulation that come along with it. with growing up, these are our closest everyday concepts that we deal with that define who we become or want to be”.
