June 12th, 2012

Mzansi Magic’s popular telenovela, iNkaba demonstrated their stand against Xenophobia recently when they filmed their Fashion Against Xenophobia show.

Zalebrities and various media personalities were invited to go behind the scenes at the filming and feature as an audience during the filming of the show.

The storyline for the Fashion Against Xenophobia show introduces upcoming designer Nothando (played by actress Nompilo Gwala). Nothando designs a clothing line for a fashion show to demonstrate her stand against Xenophobia after having seen her friend Pascal (played by actor Richard Lukunku) be affected by it.

“The show incorporated a real designer behind Nothando’s collection. iNkaba’s fashion consultant, Ole Ledimo (from House of Ole), consulted and designed the garments that were seen on the ramp,” said M-Net’s Bongiwe Potelwa.

This is exciting, and their designs are very nice,” said designer Palse Homme who was among the invited guests. “A very fabulous fashion show indeed,” added Kuli Roberts.

Other guests included zalebrity manager Linda Moeketsi, actress Lucia Mthiyane, designer Ephraim and stylist Filipe Mazibuko.

“We are definitely looking forward to the show airing. It’s really exciting to be part of such a progressive show,” said Janel Jordaan who plays Clara on iNkaba.
