Kanye West is finally in SA for his one night only performance at the Castle Lite Feel the Beat of Sub-Zero Experience tomorrow at the Coca-Cola Dome in Joburg.

The Sowetan interviewed Castle Lite’s general manager Adrea Quaye who explained that Kanye West’s performance is one not to be missed.

“West is one of the most awarded artists of all time: a musical genius whose lyrics have become the soundtrack of our generation. It is not surprising that his South African fans want to experience his music live.  What we can guarantee is that they will be experiencing it in an experiential venue like no other.”

For a mega star like Kanye, you’d expect him to have plenty ridiculous backstage requests for the organisers but, according to Capacity Relations managing director, Sarit Reouveni Tomlinson, Mr West is actually quite modest.

Tomlinson wouldn’t reveal much about Kanye’s requests but she did reveal that he had asked for his dressing room be filled with white furniture.

If you have tickets to the Castle Lite Sub-Zero Experience featuring Kanye West make sure you arrive there early as it’s going to be one happening party!
