Businessman Theunis Crous, who has been socialite Khanyi Mbau’s headline sidekick for the last year, is in trouble again, after True Love magazine features editor Melinda Ferguson called the police on him.

Crous has apparently phoned Ferguson over the weekend, furiously demanding to know why he had been given no chance to comment in the magazine’s feature on Khanyi. He also vented his anger on Twitter.

He verbally abused her, and she decided to get the Norwood police to contact him and warn him not to call her again.

Crous has accused Khanyi and the magazine of “trying to provoke [him], after the latter took Khanyi’s word over Crous’ regarding his marriage to his wife, Primrose. Ferguson told him she tried to get hold of him, but couldn’t get hold of him in all the 14 times she called him before the story was published. He had not responded to any of her messages.
