Lil Wayne reportedly attacked a look-a-like in Johannesburg over the weekend after the impersonator pretended to be the American rapper at a nightclub.

Lil Wayne was in South Africa last week for shows in Johannesburg and Cape Town, and is said to have taken offence when Young Nucho greeted fans as if he was the star rapper at Hush nightclub.

‘Tha Carter’ artist then allegedly hit Young Nucho – who is dating the ever-controversial Nonhle Thema at present.

However, Hush have flat out denied that Lil Wayne was even at the venue, but revealed that members of his crew did party at their establishment and may have taken offence to Young Nucho’s actions.

“Lil Wayne and Drake were back at their hotels after the gig [at the Coca-Cola Dome this weekend],” publicist for Hush, Melanie Ramjee, told TimesLIVE.

“But the rest of the Young Money crew were at Hush, which is when they saw Young Nucho taking photos with girls and occupying the VIP area we had set aside for Lil Wayne in case he visited.”

Ramjee added: “He didn’t get klapped, but maybe he should have.”
