The Bar-One Manhunt is back on SABC 3 for yet another grueling and exciting season. Featuring 25 contestants who were chosen from the auditions held across the country, this season is sure to get your pulse racing.

Meet the men behind the manhunt here – who are you rooting for?

PARIS PHILIPPOU

Based in Johannesburg,Paris is a publisher and editor at a digital company. He is a sports enthusiast and he does mixed marital arts.Parislives his life by the words of James Dean, “”Dream as if you’ll live forever, live as if you’ll die tomorrow”.

KHULEKANI SIBIYA

Born in KwaZulu Natal he is now a based in Johannesburg where he works as a business analyst. Khulekani, or KK as his friends call him, loves body building, extreme sports and travelling. “I believe in life all the mistakes you make are part of the lessons you are meant to learn,” he says.

SIFISO NDZANELA

So determined to win the Bar One Manhunt this Durbanite resigned from his job as supplement specialist for a supplement company just to focus all his energy on the win. He loves writing poetry, taking peaceful walks and body building. Sifiso attributes who he is to his late mother. “She raised me to be the man I am today; respectful, humble and a go-getter.”

DENE BOTHA

Dene is what you would call a versatile human being. He has so many titles that he juggles so well in his life. Dene is Guinness World Record holder surfer, actor, entrepreneur, model, MC, event commentator, TV presenter and sports coach. “I am a party animal and tireless thrill seeker,” he says.

LUCIEN CHETTY

This former police officer says, “I consider myself strong, fit, healthy and love high adrenalin extreme sports.” He was one of the contenders in the 2000 MTN Gladiators. He is married and has two kids.

LUCAS MTHENJANE

Lucas was born in Johannesburg but now resides in Cape Town. He owns Fizeeks in Training, a dance and fitness studio in the city bowl .He relaxes by collecting caps, hiking and watching movies.

CRAIG BESTER

This 22-year-old loves swimming, skiing, athletics, horse riding, motor cross, golf, scuba diving, hockey, jet skiing and painting. He is a swimming coach based in Johannesburg.

INNOCENT MOKOENA

This father of two boys is a trainer at Occupation SA. Innocent says he enjoys himself the most when he is at the gym training, at church and when playing with his boys at the park.

GEO BOTHA

“I believe in giving back to the community and serving others is a high priority for me,” says this employment benefit specialist who loves good food, cooking and beautiful music. Geo also enjoys playing social golf and club rugby.

WESLEY BRANSON

Wesley is qualified in human anatomy science and is a personal trainer. ”I am competitive and don’t like losing, even though I am not a sore loser. I like trying my hand at new and challenging things,” he says.

JASON BULL

Zimbabwean born and now Johannesburg based, Jason has worked in hospitality for a number of years. He now works as a technician in a plastics company with his father. “When I have some down time I like to play rugby, squash, to sail, and ride motorbikes. I also like to custom make knives and I enjoy target shooting and partying.”

BRADLEY MAPITI

Bradley is originally from Polokwane and is now living inJohannesburg. He loves standup comedy and posted a clip of his own stand up on YouTube which got over 1000 viewers. “I love comedy and comedians, my favorites are Eddie Murphy, Bernie Mac, Eugene Khoza and Chris Rock.”

MICHAEL GRAHAM

This Pietermaritzburg based events company owner believes in giving back and he is also a certified crossfit trainer. “I have been given the gift of health, so to pay back that gift, I help those less fortunate that myself”, Michael says.

TYRELL BOSSINGER

This fireman at the Fire Department inDurbanis a simple man who enjoys spending days with his wife and daughter, taking strolls on the beach and going to the park. Tyrell does triathlons, crossfit and mountain biking.

ALEX VOITOV

This professional tennis coach who is from Russia but who is now based in Johannesburg loves the outdoors and is into all sports, especially gym and boxing. “When I want to unwind I travel, watch movies and spend time with family and friends,” he says.

ALEXANDRE TORRAO

This entrepreneur in the entertainment events and leisure loves to gym, to swim, run and scuba dive. “If I win the Bar One Manhunt I will use my cash prize to buy wheelchairs for kids with motor neurosis,” he says.

CHRISTO DU PLESSIS

“I am inspired by blade runner Oscar Pistorius. I just finished reading his book and I love it. If I ever get a chance to inspire people in the way that Oscar does, I will feel my life was worth something,” says Christo. This Vandebijlpark man is a fitness model and enjoys everything that’s got to do with fitness and healthy lifestyle.

WAYNE SIMMONS

Wayne is a restaurant manager in Umhlanga Rocks, Durban, who is also currently studying a BCom Marketing Management Degree. He is an avid Manchester United fan and he enjoys weight training, swimming, running, spinning and rugby.

LUSHWILL ROSSOUW

This Cape Town based personal trainer loves weight training and is addicted to crossfit. “When I want to relax I watch rugby, go fishing, and surf as well as kayak fishing,” he says.

KEVIN TSHEHISI

Kevin is an owner of a modeling and acting agency in Cape Town. He loves the outdoors and adventure sports. “My wish is would also like to give back to those infected and affected by the HIV Aids pandemic.”

GREGG HAMMOND

Gregg is the official face of and ambassador for Hugo Boss SA. Winner of the hit BBC TV show: Come Dine with Me South Africa. He was also 2011 SA Cosmopolitan Magazine Sexiest Man of the year. “I am a fitness freak. I eat, sleep and breathe health and fitness.”

MIKE THOMSON

Mike owns and runs a fundraising company for youth sport development called Push 4 Gold. “I enjoy track cycling, mountain biking, rock climbing and canoeing, but my favorite thing to do is to enjoy a good wine with my wife and be a dad,” Mike says.

LLOYD BARTIS

He is a Durban based model who runs a juice bar, manufacturing and selling 100% juices to walkers, joggers, surfers, skaters and families strolling on the beach. “I love watching movies or the National Geographic Channel. I also love watching soccer especially when my team Manchester United is playing.”

STEVE BHENGU

This Gagasi FM radio journalist, news presenter and producer enjoys gym and says he is a self-motivated person. “I have a great sense of humor and I enjoy good company, especially female company,” Steve says.

PATRIC KASONGO

Patrick is a personal trainer who was born in Pietermaritzburg and is now based in Johannesburg. In 2009 he was Mr. Hillcrest and Won SA Model of the year in 2008. “I like to be involved in breast cancer awareness programs because I lost my sister to it. She was only 23 when she died from breast cancer,” he says.
