SA’s top rapper releases two new videos for the silly season.

The pirate king of South Africa’s caravan parks has sent out a very merry Christmas to everyone in his latest music video. Cunningly titled Merry Xmas, the video reveals what Jack Parow wants for Christmas – including things such as a large TV, stronger arms and a fountain of brandy. He invites Santa over for a visit, wooing him with a strong drink instead of milk and cookies. And, impressively, he manages to do all of this without uttering a single obscenity!

But if Parow’s christmas wishes are not quite to your liking – or you prefer to see him back in full, foul-mouthed form, his other new video was released through music channel MK’s latest MVP project. MVP selects new talent in South Africa’s filmmaking pool and hands them a nice budget to create a music video with. A lucky team got assigned to filming Parow’s ‘Afrikaans Is Dood’, telling the tale of muggers getting to Parow’s lyrics book and his fight to take it back. It’s very good, but – in true style – the lyrics are definitely not safe for sensitive ears…
