Highlighted as the most anticipated Music Award Show in the country, The Metro FM Awards hosted their 2013 Nominees party at the glamorous Summer Place in Sandton last night.

Afro-Pop singer Donald Moatshe received a whopping six nominations for his debut album Train of Love. Donald’s nominations include best produced album, best dance album, best male album, best styled artist and best single for Deserve.

Other artists who received nominations included the likes of Metro FM DJ and SA Idols judge Unathi Msengana and pop singer Toya Delazey. Both ladies managed to scoop four nominations each.

The voting lines are now open and will close just before midnight on the 17^th of February 2013. If you’d like to vote, all you have to do is SMS the category name and your favourite artist to 34764 by the closing date.

The Metro FM Awards 2013 will take place in Durban on February 23.
