Miss SA judges announced the top 12 finalists who will be competing for the Miss SA title at Sun City‘s Superbowl on December 11.

Thousands of beautiful women poured in for the auditions in the hopes of being chosen for the finals.

The Miss SA hopefuls had to undergo difficult training in order to make it to the final group.

Paledi Segapo told Sowetan that the standard of the competition keeps getting higher each year.

“This year, the girls were really smart. There were more smart girls than pageantry ones. Over half the participants are studying for a degree, and some are postgraduates,” she said.

“They really challenged us instead of us challenging them.”
