For the next three months while winter takes over, SABC 3 is making sure our evenings at home are enjoyable in from of the telly.
“The plan is to make sure we keep you entertained and warm during this cold season with our great programming,” said Isidingo star Ashish Gangapersad, when he presented the line up at a recent press screening.”
The new line up includes a new local reality show called The Business Coach. Greg Mason, a business coach, is the host of the show and he said, “The show is about helping businesses with their problems and when the viewers watch they are able to also apply the tools we use to their own businesses.”
Sketch You Later is also another local comedy starting this winter. “It is a show that reflects and builds our unity as a nation through the collective belief in the absurd, the lame, the corrupt, the ironic and the downright hysterical characters and situations that truly reflect our country,” said Clive Morris one of the show’s producers.
On the international front SABC 3 is bringing some great shows including the last season of the popular MacGyver series, the second season of The Good Wife, season four of Rules of Engagement and all the celebrations following the Diamond Jubilee.
The popular doctor Michael Mol from Hello Doctor now has his own show, The Dr Mol Show which will also deal with various health issues.
“We will keep you warm indeed this winter we even have some local top notch films, including: the coming of age story Otelo Burning, home-grown vampire love story Eternity, musical love story Liefling, acclaimed South African singer, songwriter and entertainer Nataniël in Combat, gospel in the Afrikaans Karoo Saak van Geloof, labour of love Lucky and the Afrikaans musical Platteland,” Ashish said.
