Mandla “Spikiri” Mofokeng, also known as The King of Kwaito, is throwing a massive three-day bash for his fans at Meadowlands High School from December 24 to 26.
The king of kwaito will be giving back to his community as he believes that they are the people who have been supporting him through the years.
He is also celebrating a milestone of 25 years in the music industry and his lifetime achievement award from Metro FM.
Mofokeng expressed his excitement to Sowetan saying that many musicians come and go in the industry: “I am pleased that I am here and on top of the game.
“I am grateful to God for the talent He gave me and for keeping me alive up to now.”
He plans to stage more performances around the country to celebrate his 25 years in the music business.
The line-up for the music festival includes artist like Mr Selwyn, Brown Dash, Bricks, Alaska, General and many more.
Tickets will be available at the gate for R50.
