The Parlotones are packing their bags again. This time, frontman Kahn Morbee has told East Coast Radio’s Anisa Ussuph they will be heading off to Europe from around 20 September 2012 followed by a tour of the US. That will take them away from home for about three months.

Local fans are in for a summer treat as Kahn says The Parlotones will be hitting the road across SA in December. Kahn says while they love being on tour taking their music to fans around the world, they do miss home tremendously.

“You miss your friends and your family but you also just miss creature comforts,” says Kahn. “It’s the simple things that most people tend to take for granted. It’s being able to wake up in your own bed; have a shower in your own shower. I mean it’s silly things but it is something that you long for when you’re away.”
