Hype magazine’s Top 5o Emcees list, which was leaked online ahead of schedule, has got a lot of tongues wagging.

Fans of rapper and Idols presenter Proverb would have been aghast to see him relegated to second place on the list by Johannesburg based word-smith Tumi from the Volume.

The list was only due for publication with the next edition of Hype magazine, but an as yet unnamed local rapper apparently leaked it online via his Twitter account. We’re guessing he wont be getting much good publicity out of the publication for a while.
