On September 28 ZAlebs got invited to an Albany's cooking class with the fabulous DJ Zinhle and to say it was fun would be an understatement.
The event was held at SA Culinary Club in Bryanston filled with food lovers.
The attendees were taught how to twist up the bread by making very delicious but easy to make recipes at home with the assitance of Albany's resident chef Sherwyn Weaich and The Lazy Makoti.
DJ Zinhle also shared with ZAlebs how her relationship with Albany bread came about.
"Albany and I have teamed up to do a couple of activations and all of them are based on health and healthy eating. You know we all love bread but we still love to look good at the same time, so we're just telling people how they can use bread in a healthy way, which type of bread to eat, so our aim is to show people that you can have your bread but still be sexy at the same time."
Zinhle and the Albany team presented 3 dishes, starting with Sherwyns' s dish, The lazy Makoti's salad and a simple sweet treat all made with the "Star" of the day Albany Low GI bread.
Who knew bread could look this healthy and appetizing in a salad?
With all these cooking lessons we are sure ready to cook up a storm in the kitchen.
