Viewers have taken to the blue app to express how unhappy they are with the low-budget funeral. A Twitter user asked why he was buried in Johannesburg instead of Mbumba, KwaZulu-Natal, where his brothers were buried.
@Iamzwide1 tweeted “I think we can agree that, that funeral was disgraceful and Nqoba was very much disrespected. He would have appreciated a Mbuba funeral.”

Tweeps say Nqoba deserved a dignified funeral and others dragged Mandisa for wreaking havoc at Nqoba’s funeral.
Not sure why everyone is so upset with Mandisa. That funeral was so Nqoba. The chaos, the vibe, Mandisa’s shebeen queen swag 🤭🤌🏾That is the life he lived, loved and enjoyed. Lmao. Here for it. #TheWifeShowmax

Also Mandisa is selfish, why would she choose to bury Nqoba in joburg knowing very well that’s not what he would’ve wanted and why would she choose to be spiteful at the funeral? You’re supposed to honour the man you love even in death !!🧍🏾♂️ #TheWifeShowmax

I understand that Mandisa might be angry but whats that whole thing about having half naked people and guns at Nqoba’s funeral? That was just – 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 #TheWifeShowmax

Nqoba deserves a better funeral, i thought the brothers were gonna dig him up and take his body to Mbuba #TheWifeShowmax

Honestly how Mandisa went about Nqoba’s funeral was disgusting and irritating.

Mandisa didn’t love Nqoba the way she claimed she did. She loved the money and the lifestyle it came with being with him. What she did was selfish and disrespectful to Nqoba, depriving him a respectful and dignified funeral. #thewifeshowmax

Nqoba’s funeral was proof that people, especially men, should have Wills and specify where they would like to be buried, ngoba nje this was not it!#TheWifeShowmax

Abdul recently bid farewell to the show and thanked everyone for the support “I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has shown me love and overwhelming support on The Wife. I will always love you, but I would also like to apologize to those who are hurt by my departure,” he wrote.
According to him, he couldn’t make any recommendations on how long his character would last, “Unfortunately no actor writes their own character story, so please understand that I cannot change or influence any show to keep any of my characters once they have written their story,” he continued.
