Domestic violence is a very serious crime. Even the most unsuspecting well-known celebrities can be perpetrators fall victim to this horrendous crime.
KwaZulu-Natal born rapper and former Isibaya actor, Big Zulu was recently arrested for allegedly physically attacking his girlfriend at their home in Newtown.
Speaking to Sunday World, Zulu’s girlfriend said: ‘The problem started two weeks ago when I confronted him. He was sitting outside with his friends and two girls. I called him to the side and asked him who the girls were.” She add: “I asked him because I needed to know why he keeps doing that and disregarding my feelings. He got aggressive but that time he walked away.”
The couple also share a two-year-old child.
The Gauteng Police have confirmed to the publication that an assault case against Big Zulu was opened. He is set to appear in court on Friday.
