Boity has bagged her first South African Hip Hop Awards nomination in the Best Collabo category.
That’s a cause for celebration, right? The nod comes just a few months after she launched her rap career with her chart-topping single Wuz Dat, featuring award-winning rapper Nasty C.
Speaking to ZAlebs, the rapper said: “This means the world to me. It’s a huge milestone and it profoundly reminds me why it is so important to pursue your dreams and passions.”
She added that the rewards will always be gratifying. “And most times, like, they will exceed many of your expectations. This is beyond what I prayed for and expected so early into my journey in rap.”
