A baecation is meant for a couple to just unwind and forget about all the problems that plague them and the world. However this was not the case for our husky voiced media personality, Boity Thulo, as she enjoyed some downtime with her beau, Stanley in Mauritius a couple of days ago.
Boity shared heartwarming snaps of her by the ocean; seemingly connecting with her ancestors. This multi faceted entertainer seemed quite tranquil and at peace on those pictures, which was quite evident that her spirituality is a sacred practice to her.
In an interview with Metro FM, Boity made it clear that her position as a sangoma takes precedence over her position as a media personality and public figure but she has also managed to find a balance between her two roles.
““They’re two different people (Boity and Gogo Boitumelo) and I can do it both. If I was not born to do it both (being famous and being a sangoma) I am sure that my ancestors would remove one to ensure that I concentrate on the other. I think I’ve found a nice balance and I’m treading carefully on this journey when it comes to my calling,” she said.
Its true what they say, our spirit guides are always with us.
