In a not so great turn of events, convicted rapist Sipho ‘Brickz’ Ndlovu is a free man.
The former kwaito star was sentenced to 15 years jail time for allegedly raping his then 16-year-old niece. After having served only 5 months behind bars, he appealed and got out on bail.
The R80 000 bail was paid by his friend Grey Mafumbu who also told Move! that Brickz is trying to be a better man. “While in jail he focused on every good thing, especially when it came to educational programmes and writing. he is also planning to write a book on his life.”
This really has one wondering what actually has to happen to keep the bad people behind bars as this isn’t even his first instance of forcing himself on someone. The victim’s father is disappointed in South Africa’s justice system as his daughter is still healing from the wounds inflicted by the star.
