The three-year court case has been extended for another week after Brickz Lawyer, Dumisani Mabunda withdrew from the case on the day of his sentencing.
Brickz was due to hear his fate today, but the sentencing took a left turn after Brickz had to appoint a new legal team to represent him. His legal team requested for the postponement of the sentencing in order to prepare and study the case as reported by Daily Sun.
Just this week, Brickz’s former lawyer confirmed their intentions to appeal the conviction and prove Brickz supposed innocence.
Brickz next sentencing will be on the 1st of August.
