It seems like A-Reece isn't having the best of luck lately. Ever since his very dramatic exit from Ambitiouz Entertainment, the new school rapper has been focused on building his own name in the hip hop game with The Wrecking Crew.

But lately, he's been hitting a few snags in his plan. Last week, it was reported that A-Reece and The Wrecking Crew were being dragged to court. The group allegedly skipped out on a headlining slot in Bloemfontein last month and refuse to refund the promoters their booking fee.

Not only is that unprofessional but a bit concerning that this is how A-Reece and hi boy conduct business. And now, it seems like his behaviour is also keeping him from bagging that Caassper Nyovest feature!

Fans have been eagerly waiting to see if Cassper and A-Reece would ever put out a song together. I mean, it would definitely be a banger but turns out that dream is dead in the water.

Last year, social media was abuzz with rumours that Cassper and A-Reece were beefing. Neither has admitted that they have harsh feelings towards each other, though. Cassper has since told fans that he's tried to reach out to his rival but keeps getting blue ticked. Cassper later blocked A-Reece.

The pair have been trading subtweets and subliminal bars ever since but mostly from A-Reece's end though. Cassper even offered a feature as a white flag but the new school rapper isn't budging!

Fans haven't heard any updates since then until now when Cassper was asked this week about the status of the collab, he shared with fans that he "couldn't get hold of Reece."

"Been trying to find him. Dmd him. I tried though, that's what counts. I tried a lot of guys and most of them are missing me. I tried," he said.

Cassper has been saying that he is now on a new chapter in his life where he wants to "protect" his energy.
