While many thought that American rapper, Kanye West, was aiming at Drake when he called out rappers for imitating his Saint Pablo floating stage design during a recent show in Canada, it turns out that he’s the one who might need to be called out.

According to Hypebeast, the rapper said “this the original, accept no imitations! You with the rap God right now. N****s be copying our sh** bro. Stealin’ our shit, stealin’ our stages. Copying our sh** one-to-one.”

Add to that, the fact that the streets have been talking about the similarities for a while and Yae waited until he was in Canada (where Drake is originally from) to address the issue, it’s easy to see why people thought he was taking shots at Drizzy.

But before we could even process Yae’s statement, Cassper Nyovest came along to remind everyone that he did the floating stage thing last year during his concert at The Dome.

“Woke up to my name on American blogs about how I possibly stole Kanye’s stage. We did this a year ago already. lol. Ya Neh,” said Nyovest on Twitter.

The image in question is a photo take during Cassper's Fill Up The Dome concert held late last year in Johannesburg.

We find it a little amusing that the text in the Instagram image says “if you’re reading this, I made it,” as though it were an ode to Drake’s “if you’re reading this it’s too late.”

What do you guys think? Does Kanye have a point or should he give Cassper the props he deserves?
