South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest, has garnered unnecessary attention after boasting that he is stocked up with cases of Ciroc. Following President Cyril Ramaphosa’s speech on Sunday, 12 July 2020, South African’s were left in a state of disbelief, after alcohol was banned once more, with immediate effect.
Whilst many Tweeps shared their woes on social media, Cassper was quick to let everyone know that he has cases of alcohol in his house, subsequently meaning that the ban did not affect him. His revelation caused fans to chastise him, with many claiming that not everyone can afford to stockpile like he did. Others accused him of being boastful, and bringing upon unnecessary attention which can lead to theft and his house being vandalised.
