In June, D’banj fans woke up to the tragic news of the sudden passing of D’banj’s one year old son – Daniel.
His son had accidentally drowned in the families pool, D’banj had heard the terrible news of his baby boy whilst he was at the BET Awards in L.A
Messages of condolences came from all corners of the continent, his fellow countryman and musician, Davido upon accepting his BET award sent out his message of condolences live at the award show.
It’s been two months since the tragic passing of little Daniel, D’banj has since come out of mourning to thank everyone for their support at this trying time in his families life.
The Nigerian singer posted a picture of himself with the caption below that read:
“The past few weeks have been incredibly trying and difficult, but God’s love has kept me and my family going. I can’t thank my team enough and the incredible love from you all. May God Keep us all. #StrongerToger. “
