Ever since we witnessed DJ Arch Jnr, real name Oratilwe AJ Hlongwane, being crowned as one of the youngest winners of South Africa’s Got Talent at the age of three-years-old in 2015, we’ve literally been watching him and his career grow. He is slowly taking over the world.

DJ Arch Jnr’s success has had a lot of fans in Mzansi asking themselves questions like, "what was I doing at six years old?”

As if watching the young DJ play is not surreal enough, according to his biography, his love for music was evident at just a few months old and today, he is rubbing shoulders with the entertainment industry elites and travelling abroad.

Following his Genius Book of Records nod for being the world's youngest DJ after beating Japanese seven-year-old Itsuki Morita’s mark, DJ Arch Jnr has been on a global takeover. He was recently chosen as one of fifty acts to compete on Americas Got Talent spin-off, America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

Although he might be a little young to comprehend the magnitude of his success, the young DJ’s fast-growing career that took off as a result of his father, Glen Hlongwane, buying him an iPad at four months and letting him fiddle with a deejaying app, is a clear blueprint of what the next generation could be in this digital age.

The series premieres in the United States of America on 7 January, 2019. There will be contestants from around the world including Britain, Australia and Belgium.
