Will DJ Sbu ever catch a break? It doesn’t seem so.
The controversial DJ has been in the media for all the wrong reasons lately. The latest story, published by Sunday World, claims that the DJ lied about owning the house he showed off on Top Billing.
According to the paper, the house belongs Roz Everitt, the co-owner of international property group Chas Everritt. Sbu is simply renting the property. Big deal? While some feel the need to blast Sbu for this, others are on the Dj’s side. Euphonik, Sizwe Dhlomo and Kuli Roberts had this to say:
So what was @djsbu meant to call that place? 99% of you including the journos who wrote the story call the places you rent your house. Wtf

He also took to Instagram to imply that some journalists are being paid to write negatively about him
“…Smear campaigns have been created to destroy his credibility in the media. Similar to a Presidential candidate, a certain number of journalists are being paid & he’s targeted every other week because he’s become a big threat tp business in the FMCG Sector in SA…”
