The annual Major League Gardens is celebrating its fifth year since its inception.

The event, organised by Major League twins -  Bandile and Banele Mbere has seen a lot of growth over the years at it brought upon South Africa's finest performers to grace its stage.

This year the Mbere brother's upped the notch and introduced Burna Boy as one of its main acts.

“In this edition of Major League Gardens we would like to drive awareness of the work that goes behind putting together Major League Gardens, the team behind the scenes, the brands and most importantly the fans that have helped us bring our vision to life. We want to celebrate 5 years and share our vision to expand this event to make it one Africans & the Globe descend on South Africa for to experience the people, the culture & our music” - Major League DJs

It is reported that less than half of all new business ventures survive their first 5 years. So, celebrating the “early years” as well as the milestone anniversaries create the perfect opportunity to reflect on amazing achievements and reaffirm a commitment to the future that the Major League team has put in.

The Major League DJZ honored the consistent support of fellow peers by bringing back South Africa’s finest to the stage (Black Motion; Cassper Nyovest; Riky Rick; Nasty C; Nadia Nakai; Sjava and more) coupled with the African Giant Burna Boy to co-headline the event.

To show how much they appreciate the support the Major League DJz even put together an exclusive dinner for their fans to honor and thank them for supporting their music; events and business ventures such as buying Major League merchandise.

Here are some of the pictures from the event:

Make sure you don't miss out on next year's event, we're sure it promises to be just as entertaining.
