Update: Generations: The Legacy has confirmed that some stars will be leaving the show. The news was shared on the soapie’s website. According to the statement, Denise asked to be released from her contract because she’s moving on to pursue other interests.
Asanda Foji is also leaving the show. However, Ivy Nkutha will not be leaving, and will be part of the upcoming season on the soapie.

Generations: The Legacy has reportedly fired some of its main actors. According to Times LIVE, Denise Zimba, who plays Mary, Asanda Foji, who plays Simphiwe, and Ivy Nkutha, who plays Gog Flo, will be leaving the show.
A source told the site that the popular soapie is shaking things up and decided to fire actors who were no longer adding any value to the show.
The site also added that there are more actors who have not had their contracts renewed.
Generations: The Legacy publicist Gaaratwe Mokhethi told Times LIVE: “We can’t confirm or deny the allegations but the official statement will be on the Generations website soon.”
