Gigi Lamayne wants fans to know that she’s safe after being hospitilised for an alleged suicide attempt.
A few days ago, the rapper got fans worried after posting cryptic tweets which suggested that she was planning to end her life. She also shared a picture from her hospital bed telling the nation that depression won’t win. Fans and celebrities rallied behind the star and sent her messages of encouragement.
She is now out of danger and has expressed gratitude for the support she’s received over the past few days.
“Home safe. Thank you to every single one of my friends, industry mates and supporters. I’m sorry to you all. Clearly I’m alive to tell my best story yet. I LOVE YOU for love me at this time of weakness. You made me strong. Now I work on myself. Now I love myself,” she wrote on Instagram.
The message was followed by tons of positive comments from her fans. “We love you Gigi, stay strong n take all the time you need. God bless you and may he give you all the strength you need to get through this. Keeping you in our prayers,” wrote a fan.
