Former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates player Jabu Mahlangu, has reportedly been hospitalized after being involved in a horrific car accident.

Various media outlets report that the former Bafana Bafana star is in hospital after being injured in the accident and Mzansi prays for his quick recovery.
Pictures of the accident scene, believed to be the one he was involved in, have gone viral on social media and are causing panic among his fans. The soccer star was driving a BMW 4 Series that had front-end damage.
According to reports, the accident occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning in Benoni. Mabu Marweshe, his lawyer, confirmed the accident to City Press but couldn't provide more details.
“We have not seen him yet. The only thing we got from his brother was the confirmation that there was an accident in the early hours of the morning.
“It looks like there was more than one vehicle involved. They suspect that the occupants of the other vehicle might be injured too. Jabu is in the same hospital [with some of them],” Marweshe told the publication.Another star who was also recently involved in a car accident is Blxckie. The rapper said they driving to Johannesburg from Lesotho with his team when their front tyre got a puncture.
“What happened is, we were driving from Lesotho to Jozi to catch a 6pm flight to Durban, so I can get to these gigs and whatever.

“When we arrived in Bloemfontein, which is like a lil bit over halfway to Jozi, one of the front tyres got a puncture and the car goes out of control and skids onto the side of the road.”
Fortunately, they escaped the accident unharmed. He described the accident hectic as he said one of the front tyres popped as soon as they arrived in Johannesburg. "… getting that punctured tyre switched took a big chunk out of our time and, even worse, one of the front tyres popped as soon as we got into Jozi." he said
A dark cloud also hovered over the Amapiano fraternity when Killer Kau and Mpura, lost their lives along with 5 other people in 2021. The artists were travelling to a concert in Rustenburg, South Africa on 7 August 2021 when the accident occurred.
According to police who told TshisaLIVE that an official investigation had been launched, they said, “The department of community safety, roads and transport has confirmed the accident that claimed six lives on the N4. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased and we hope they find strength during this difficult period. An investigation is underway to establish the cause of the accident. We are again appealing to people to adhere to the regulations as most accidents happen way past curfew time. Work with our law enforcement officials to ensure you arrive alive.”
Another star to be involved in a car accident was Mfana KaGogo who was on his way to sign a record deal in Johannesburg. He took to social media to share an image of the wrecked vehicle and said he was grateful that he and his team were alive. “Sbonge ukuthi umuntu usaphila ne team yonke ayinalutho. Jehova mkhulu,” he wrote.
