Jub Jub might be fixing the country with his antics on Uyajola 99 but he is currently ruining the finances of two men who have worked for him in recent months - that's if a recent report is to be believed.

Hours before the latest episode of Uyajola aired, Jub Jub found himself making all the wrong headlines when he was accused of not paying his ex-staff. This weekend's Sunday World ran with a damning story about how he has failed to pay two of his former bodyguards and in a bid to pressure the Moja Love star into coughing up the dough, they have started airing his dirty laundry.

Jub Jub already doesn't have the cleanest PR image in the world; the musician and presenter famously spent five years behind bars after killing two teenagers in a drunken drag-race gone wrong. While he's done his best to gain the country's forgiveness since then, some of his misgivings continue to follow him around.

This weekend two men by the names of Tumi Masite and Larash Base tried to expose Jub Jub after claiming they were owed salaries worth more than R20,000 (it is unclear if the salaries are R20,000 each or in total).

The gentlemen have not been paid and are now leaking some of Jub Jub's deepest darkest secrets to the media, hoping that this will guilt him into paying what he allegedly owes. And what are those secrets? According to the report they include:

  • -The men claim they were fired after refusing to play video games with Jub Jub until the early hours of the morning.

  • -They claim that Jub Jub was so paranoid about being attacked that he would ask them to guard the bathroom doors when he needed the toilet.

  • -They also say he owes them money for random favours they did for him including offering tattoos to some of his "female friends" and even ordering an uber for one of these female friends.

According to the paper, Jub Jub has slammed these allegations and further denied owing his bodyguards money. Instead, the Ndikhokhele singer replied, ā€œIā€™m not going to entertain these things. All these allegations are informed by jealousy,ā€

Which side of this messy story do you believe?
