Sunday World reported that the legendary musician took a personal loan worth, 1,9 million from BlueChip Retail Solutions. Due to the alleged failure of keeping up with the installments, the company has dragged the matter to the court.
Through their lawyers, BlueChip Retail Solutions forwarded a letter of demand to Kabelo - which served as a reminder to settle the remaining amount.
Sunday Sun was in possession of the letter sent to Kabelo and part of it reads as follows:
"In the premise you have failed or alternatively neglected to adhere to the terms and conditions of agreement... Our client notes receipt of payment in the amount of about R250,000. It is noteworthy that the balance remaining amounts to R1,080,295.92."
Kabelo's take on the matter provides a confusing twist, as he believes that, he is only left with an outstanding amount of R4,000 as he has allegedly paid back 1,5 million so far.
The lawyers declined to divulge additional information but they did confirm that Kabelo was still owing them money.
