Amapiano king Kabza De Small has suffered a heavy blow this December. The star took to Twiiter to express his sorrow at losing a loved one just before Christmas. He just tweeted โ€œ2020โ€ along with a thumbs down and two broken hearts emojis. Uninformed tweeps made fun of the situation until one tweep revealed that the DJ had just lost his child who was about to turn one on Christmas day.

May her soul rest in peace.

Just recently renowned Hip Hop mogul Diddy recently uploaded a Ciroc ad through Instagram playing one of Kabza de Small's track in the background. He even tagged the South African Piano King in the record. This is a major co-sign, big up to Kabza.

Kabza De Small recently gave the timeline something to laugh about. However, his humour did not land well because many thought it was a direct dig at the internationally renowned DJ Black Coffee.

A video of the Scorpion King imitating the different sound effects from one of Black Coffee's sets has gone viral. His version of the set had many rolling on the floor with laughter. Whilst many thought it was just light humour from the DJ, others could not help but take it further by saying Kabza De Small was mocking Black Coffee.

Many came to his defense saying it's common for Pretoria people to describe sounds in the way Kabza did. For others, they warned Kabza to not mock Black Coffee as that could see the end of his career.

This hilarious video will definitely not see the end of Kabza's career because he has pushed the now popular Amapiano wave to a level many are still baffled by. Amapiano started to gain momentum because of artists like Kabza, who by the way has been riding the Amapiano wave since the start of this decade.

Together with the help of music genius DJ Maphorisa they have created timeless songs and collaborative albums that many are still jamming to today.

The DJ's have been keeping Mzansi on their feet with their dope music since they started doing music together, and their accolades, as well as nods, are a great way to reap the fruits of their labour.

To prove that, their projects have reached multi-platinum selling status. Kabza's album I Am The King Of Amapinao and Sweet and Dust, has recently gone double platinum. Some of their acclaimed projects with DJ Maphorisa including Scorpion Kings , Piano Hub EP, Pretty Girls Love Amapiano and The Return of Scorpion Kings, have all gone multi-platinum.

The award-winning producer Maphorisa had this to say;

 "You said I am using my boy @KabzaDeSmall_ Look what have we done, I didnโ€™t want to show this, it was to good to be true but f**k it CAV When we talk about changing the game with Masters. Thanks to all the supporters we humbled u changing our lives."

Kabza was told to rest after releasing his 27 track album I am the king of amapiano: Sweet & Dust. He has been giving fans music almost every week before that, but even after giving out such good music, he still refuses to slow down.
