Kelly Khumalo has this love hate relationship with Christians and Gospel fans who seem to have forgotten how Kelly put them in their place. Years ago, they beefed with Kelly over her choice of performing Gospel songs while semi nude. Kelly advised them to stop supporting her, but they did not get the message clearly, so they re-ignited that beef.

Her vocal highness shared a video clip from her performance of the song Esphambwaneni which features Hlengiwe Mhlaba. In her performance she was wearing a revealing outfit which exposed a bit of her lower body.
Watch the clip below:
The clip had been shared on all social media platforms and in each platform, Kelly gets bashed for this. This is basically history repeating itself. If you may recall, last year she went on a rant on Instagram and slammed those who judge her for wearing the outfits she wears.
"Those of you who call yourselves Christians, stop! Because you don't even know what you go to church for. 'Our God, Our God', Gha! Sies! The very same God that you're talking about is the one that blesses me on a daily basis because he knows exactly who I am. I don't try and put up a front.
"I'm no gospel artist and I don't wish to be. I'm perfect as I am. If you have a problem as a fan it is very simple, f**king unfollow. It is that simple!"
So her response when contacted by Daily Sun, does not come as a shock. The paper asked for her reaction and this is what she said, โPrepare enough space in your paper because next time, I will be literally naked singing the same song, so f**k you and your haters.โ
Kelly's relationship with Gospel dates way back because that is how she started her music career. She started doing music at the tender age of 6 when she lead her Sunday School choir and also played drums.
Just recently, she asked her fans whether they would appreciate a Gospel concert from her or not. Posting a video of her vibing to Gospel song, Kelly said,
"Iโd like to take you on a journey where it all started.... leading the Sunday School choir at 6 years old , singing and playing a drum at Zion church in KZN, youth Choir and worship team lead Vocalist to #TheVoiceOfAftica #HerVocalHighness. DROP A HEART IF WE SHOULD HAVE A KELLY KHUMALO GOSPEL CONCERT! you say yes I book the venue... itโs all up to you."
