Muthaland Entertainment CEO Lance Stehr hospitalized after health scar

The name Lance Stehr may not sound familiar to some, but those who are very tapped into the local music scene will know that this man is behind the success of many of South Africa's most loved artists such as Pitch Black Afro, Nathi, Vusi Nova, Jozi and at some point, Zola. The list goes on!

With over 20 years in the game, Lance has had his fair share of ups and downs and this time around, the downs involved his health. According to Sunday Sun, the record label boss went through a terrible ordeal recently after he spent 12 days in the ICU at Johannesburg hospital.

According to the newspaper, Lance had undergone an operation after he broke his arm at his office but after the operation, everything just went downhill.

The doctors found out that he not only had a blood infection, but that his kidneys and liver had failed.

Lance further told the Sunday Sun that this lead to him being in a coma for two weeks. Yikes!

The record label boss is said to be recovering well at home and taking things easy until he's one hundred percent ok.
