It is no secret that being a celebrity is hard, over the years, we have learned that it is not only about the glitz and the glam and at some point as a public figure, you’re bound to face public scrutiny with many sharing their opinions about your personal choices.
Lerato Kganyago was recently trolled on social media for the way she dresses and as usual, the star stood up for herself.
The television presenter took to her Instagram stories to slam followers that had ‘a mouthful’ to say about an outfit she wore.
“You know, I’m a nice person and all neh, but don’t come on my page and disrespect me and think that me being nice is some sort of a weakness, don’t come and police me, don’t think that me being nice is some sort of a weakness because I don’t do that with you. I’m not dating you, I’m not dating your boyfriend, I’m not dating your uncle and also, I’m not dating your father, so keep the negativity away,” she said.
Kganyago went on to sternly reiterate her point by stating that because she gives respect, she demands that the same respect be given to her: “I don’t come on your page and disrespect you and tell you how to dress, do the same with me, you will lose nothing from respecting other people, absolutely nothing, respect what I do, I will respect what you do, you will lose absolutely nothing, I promise.”
